As a Verified Creator, you have learned how to create collections on our platform, but your journey is incomplete until you learn how to distribute your creations on the marketplace. For that reason, proceed to read the guide.
Only Verified Creators can list primary drops from collections created on the Hinata platform. All the Guest and Authenticated accounts can list drops on the secondary market for resale from both - the Hinata created collections and external whitelisted collections.
There are 2 paths that lead you to listing your NFT for purchase:
Immediately after the NFT is created
After you have successfully created an NFT, you can list it for either sale or auction on our marketplace. If you have just created a new drop, you will have an option to "CHOOSE LISTING FORMAT" for purchase.
2. Accessing previously created NFT
If you are listing the NFT from within your user profile (accessing the NFT from your collection), first click on the item, and then navigate to the Trade tab within the popup.
NFTs cannot be delisted or canceled until the sale or auction duration has ended.
Clicking the "CHOOSE THE LISTING FORMAT" button takes you deciding between two purchase types:
Sale
Auction.
A sale consists of a fixed price with limited inventory, available for a specific amount of time.
An auction requires a starting and reserve price which must be met or exceeded by the end of the auction duration. The reserve price is the minimum bid in order for the smart contract to determine the winner.
If you decided to choose "Sale", click on it.
You can place your NFT as a Gasless Listing.
Before you move on, you need to confirm your selection.
Your confirmation leads to setting the rest of the options regarding the sale.
Start by setting the sale's start date by clicking the calendar icon or dropdown, so that a calendar displays on your screen to choose from. Continue by setting the sale duration from the dropdown (which can last 1 day, 3 days, 7 days, 1 month, or 3 months). Next, set the quantity or the number of NFTs you are selling. Finish up with setting the price of the NFT.
After you've confirmed it, you are notified of the confirmed and successfully carried out the transaction.
Then you are required to cover the gas fee.
Once that's carried out, you'd be notified of the transaction confirmation via one pop up, and of the successfully created listing via another. Also, a modal for successful listing will be displayed on your screen giving you the option to view your listed NFT.

In addition, you can edit and cancel the listing anytime you want to, until the expiration date.
Your newly listed NFT should now appear under the "Listings" section on your profile.
If, on the other hand, you decided to choose "Auction", click on it.
You can place your NFT as a Gasless Listing.
Again, you need to confirm your selection.
Your confirmation leads to setting the rest of the options regarding the auction.
Start by setting the auction's start date, via clicking the calendar icon or dropdown, and from the calendar that displays on your screen choose and confirm your settings. Continue by setting the auction duration (which can last 1 day, 3 days, 7 days, 1 month, 3 months, or 6 months) from the dropdown. Finish up with setting the starting and reserve price of the NFT and the quantity or number of NFTs you are selling.
A good starting price is 1 ETH, and a good reserve price can be 5 ETH. The NFT can receive bids at any price above 1. If the auction timer ends with the highest bid below 5 ETH, the auction will be canceled and returned to you. For the last 10 minutes of the auction, any new offer above the reserve price extends the timer another 10 minutes until there are no more bids.
After confirming, you'd be notified of the transaction confirmation and the successfully created listing via pop-up(s). A modal for successful listing will also be displayed on your screen giving you the option to view your listed NFT.
Select your NFT to view it separately.
In addition, you can cancel the auction anytime you want to, until the expiration date, and you can accept the highest bid on your NFT when you feel that it matches (or exceeds) your expectations.
